This Week’s Biggest Winners and Losers

Which GOP challenger fell flat on his face this week and which EMILY’s List candidates really hit their stride and came in #FTW?  Look no further, we’ve got the scoop:

LOSER:

Make no mistake about it, Scott Brown is this week’s biggest loser (and no, not like the television show). His newest attack ad uses ‘garbage tactics’ to smear Elizabeth Warren’s stance on free-enterprise and the success of hardworking Americans.

We’ve heard that before, no? As Greg Sargent of The Washington Post notes, “Brown, apparently taken with the plaudits Romney has earned from the right for lying relentlessly about Obama’s quote, has now done the same.”

Scott Brown might have secret meetings with kings and queens, but the facts speak for themselves.  Elizabeth Warren has always fought for small businesses and the middle class. It’s a shame we can’t say the same for him.

Elizabeth and Scott are still locked in dead heat in the polls. Trust us when we say, it has never been more important to show Elizabeth that we’ve got her back.

WINNERS!

This week’s winners make up 50% of Jezebel’s “4 Kickass Young Women” who could change the face of Congress. They’re making headlines, raising big bucks and hitting the airwaves. Kyrsten Sinema and Tulsi Gabbard are this week’s Biggest Winners.

Seriously, it’s not every day that The New York Times calls you a “bright light” in an “elective body of astounding dimness.” NBD to Kyrsten Sinema, she’s always fought for the families of Arizona.

Tulsi Gabbard had a pretty excellent week as well. Not only did Tulsi raise the most money headed into her August 11th primary and launch her own ad, but WOMEN VOTE! launched an inspiring new ad to keep her soaring high. ‘Honesty’ is hitting a Hawai’ian television near you; but you can put back your swimsuit and suitcase (sorry), we’ve got your first look here:

There you have it: Kyrsten Sinema and Tulsi Gabbard both had the best week ever! On the flip side, we’re convinced Scott Brown is this week’s biggest loser—but what do you think? Who do you think should take the titles for this week’s biggest winners and losers? Tell us below in the comments or follow us on Twitter (@emilyslist) to join the conversation. Amen to your comments about

Amen to your comments about Scott Brown! After all, when he was running for the Senate in 2010, his opponent fought hard against him and, at several points during the campaign, ran attack ads on him that made the majority of Massachusetts' voters vote him into office. Now, he's doing the same thing his opponent did to him to Elizabeth Warren as if the reason he was voted into the Senate in the first place was because the rich misogynistic patriarchs did so instead of the majority of Massachusetts' middle class voters. And he even praised God in a condescending manner when told about Elizabeth Warren's reaction to his "nudie pictures." Elizabeth Warren, on the other hand, may or may not have lied about her Native-American heritage but at least she came clean about that non-issue that doesn't even have to do with this race! Come November, the women and middle class will definitely remember indeed.

Thank you. Thanks for

Thank you. Thanks for standing up for all Americans. May God bless you.

Tulsi Gabbard

Lot of losers this week including Emily's List for its support of Tulsi Gabbard, whose sincerity is about as believable as Mitt Romney's.
