You scratch my back, I'll scratch yours.
Former GOP House Whip Cong. Roy Blunt has done plenty of favors for his GOP colleagues in Congress, raising millions through his Rely on Your Beliefs PAC. Now, it appears, it's his turn to reap the benefits.

Our elected women do plenty of juggling. Between work and home, it's remarkable how much our women in office manage to accomplish.
There was a great piece on the Today show earlier, giving an inside glimpse of the life of one of the women we helped elect, Michigan Gov. Jennifer Granholm. Now in her second term, Granholm has been a high profile state executive on the national front, leading her state through tough economic times.

We were shocked to learn about a Senate hearing yesterday, during which a witness testified that a prospective insurer denied her application for coverage because she'd had a C-section. Even more outrageous? The insurance company actually suggested -- in a written letter -- that she be sterilized!
