Outlandish claims from Scott Brown aren’t unusual (remember his secret meetings with kings and queens?). But in his new ad up today, his claims move from outlandish and silly to blatant - and dangerous - lies. In his new ad, Brown claims to be an advocate for families and women’s rights. This couldn’t be further from the truth, and Brown’s own record is proof.

On September 11, 2001, the country watched in horror as two planes were flown into the towers of the World Trade Center in New York City, a third into the Pentagon just outside Washington, DC, and a fourth driven into the ground in Shanksville, PA. It’s not a day any of us will soon forget, and it irrevocably defined our policies, culture and history for the last eleven years – and undoubtedly into the future.

Campaign rhetoric can be feisty. But when a member of the U.S. House of Representatives – like Joe Walsh - makes personal attacks on his opponent or other public figures, it’s inexcusable. His attacks have been baseless, vile, and completely unrelated to issues in the campaign. Rep. Last night was an exciting night in Arizona. EMILY’s List candidate, Kyrsten Sinema, won her hard-fought primary in Arizona’s new 9th district. With Sinema’s victory and long-time EMILY's List champion Ann Kirkpatrick’s win in AZ-01, EMILY’s List has now won 12 of 17 competitive primaries among fully endorsed EMILY’s List candidates this cycle.

When Sean Hannity is begging and pleading for you to end your Senate campaign – as he just did, two days in a row with Congressman Todd Akin – then surely you’re in dire straits.

Newark, New Jersey Mayor Cory Booker knows what's at stake for women and families in this election. Check out this email that he sent today to the EMILY's List community, asking our members to step up and contribute to help elect pro-choice Democratic women to office:

I’m as big a fan of funny internet parodies and tongue-in-cheek memes as anyone: @JillBidenVeep, @feministhulk, @LOLGOP, @FakeAPStyleBook, McKayla Maroney is NOT Impressed, Honest Toddler, Ryan Gosling’s Hey Girl, Hey Girl, It's Paul Ryan...the list goes on. But when you have to resort to sexist and disgusting rhetoric to make a point, you’re not only not funny, but you’ve gone too far.
